July 2010 Wednesday 14th - HERITAGE WALK The riverside flora of the Surrey Bank A walk organised jointly with The River Thames Society led by Joy Lee focusing on the wealth of native flora to be found along the riverbank between Richmond and Ham. From Richmond Station upper concourse at 7.30 pm, finishes around 9.00 at a local pub. A donation of £1 is requested from walkers as a contribution to the Richmond Society's Tree Planting & Landscaping Fund. Non-members welcome. Wednesday 28th - HERITAGE WALK Through the woods and meadows to Petersham A walk through the lower slopes of the Hill area to Petersham village including a visit to the newly restored St Peter's Church with local historian Jean Allsopp. From Richmond Station upper concourse at 7.30 pm, finishes around 9.00 at a local pub.
