July 2008 Wednesday 2nd - HERITAGE WALK FOUR THAMES BRIDGES AND A FOOTBRIDGE: A walk along Richmond's Arcadian riverside to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the opening of Twickenham Bridge by the Prince of Wales. From Richmond Station upper concourse at 7.30 pm, finishes around 9.00 at a local pub. A donation of £1 is requested from walkers as a contribution to the Richmond Society's Tree Planting & Landscaping Fund. Non-members welcome. Wednesday 16th - HERITAGE WALK RICHMOND UPON THE HILL: A walk around the slopes of the Hill finishing on The Terrace. From Richmond Station upper concourse at 7.30 pm, finishes around 9.00 at a local pub. A donation of £1 is requested from walkers as a contribution to the Richmond Society's Tree Planting & Landscaping Fund. Non-members welcome. Wednesday 30th - HERITAGE WALK HISTORIC PUBS OF RICHMOND: A walk around some of the town's many pubs, focusing on those of particular character and interest. From Richmond Station upper concourse at 7.30 pm, finishes around 9.00 at a local pub.
